Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Looking for help, please, with two cryptic clues that cross each other. 39a Creature the European brought back for working (4) L??N and 40d Irish 31d (31d answer is RE): a state of being angry (3) ? r i. Thanks for any help - and for any explanation of answers!

Thanks for your quick replies and that's what I first thought of. But I have the clue reading as ? r i. The word IRE would make the other answer I need read as L E ? N. Sorry still stuck!

So sorry! Confusing myself now by reading answers backwards! If someone can explain why the 39a answer is Lion then IRE fits in. What I then need to change is the two letter answer that gives me the letter i. The two letter answer is Ti as in do re me. I can't find it spelt as Te. Many thanks.
