I am looking at building a trailer for my hounds to pull along as a bit of a novelty, they are clearly of a size that their would be no health concerns as long as the trailer is suitable.

I haven't started yet as I need to find wheels.

I am looking for something a little olde world if possible, I don't really dont want inflatable if they can be avoided, I could really do with replica old cartwheels that are functional rather that just decorative. but also, I don't want to pay the earth for them.

Any ideas anybody, I have searched the net but found nothing suitable.

Here's a wheelwright living in Suffolk, he could make them but might be expensive. I'll keep looking.

Ive searched Ebay, I saw the ones listed but nothing suitable, either too big or the fitting would be too complicated to a modern cart.

I really dont want to be spending big bucks either, I may end up having to resort to pneumatic tyres.

Bicycle wheels could be a suitable alternative, ratter.
