This, my last one, has me puzzled.

24 A. University hospital covers ar*e well?(7) * = s, I never know about censorship.
?c?d?m?

I can see 'academy' . Well could be 'my' but I don't understand the rest!

A&E around cad + my
Academy (university) - 'A(&)E' (hospital, covers) 'cad' (ar*e) + 'my' (well!)
a&e around cad (ar*e)?

So obvious now! Thanks, all three of you.
My last one is 25a Need to restrict Nigel's centre pledge (7)
I've got _a_r_n_ and think it's warrant, but can't parse it fully.
Need could be 'want' and Nigel's centre is 'ra' but the extra 'r'?
Private Eye 545 25a: I thought of "warrant", as well, but came up with the same objection. I can't see any alternative, though.
25a I agree it has to be WARRANT (pledge), but can't see the wordplay. Looks like WANT round either ARR or RRA, but how is that "Nigel's centre? Something to do with Farage?
Well, the only thing that I can think of is that the compiler can't spell "Farage" properly, and thinks that there are two "r's" in the middle. Shome mishtake, shurely.........?
I think you're right AMP. Also, the answer to 24a looks like ACADEMY, but that's not really a university, and for "well" to give "my" the clue would be better with an exclamation mark, not a question mark!
I'd be a bit surprised, if that were the case, as the compiler, Cyclops, is Eddie James, who doubles as "Brummie" in the Grauniad. Are standards slipping.....?

Chambers gives 'university' under 'academy', so I think it's fine.
Re Warrant - I simply stuck it in as my answer and didn't notice the extra 'r'.
Thanks all for your comments. I'd assumed Farage and thus 'ra'. I tried to think of other Nigels with patterns like xrrax, xarrx, xxrraxx, xxarrxx, etc. but couldn't come up with any celebs/politicos. Warrant it is then!
Thought the same as AMartinP but 'Farage' is spelt correctly in 14ac.?! Can't think of an alternative yet.
It's academe or academy. Not sure which.

Hospital is ae (A&E)
Yabbie is cad
Well is my, em or me. Not sure about any of these?

Can you help with my last, 25 across? I have -A-R-N- and no idea!

But maybe you can help me with my last, 25 across?
Clue?
Sorry ignore that last post can now see while thread and agree must be warrant (and academy).
I think that is the one where there seems to be a mistake

Want + arr , but of course Farage has only one 'r'
The extra "r" in warrant is short for "restricted". See http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/R
I considered that but took 'restricted' to be an inclusion indicator.
