I suspect HALYARD but am struggling with the logic as to why
(country house being Hall - l + secure having connection to yard ?????

Any help appreciated

Thanks all - I can see the Ho as short for house, and l for left. But where land comes from secure I just don't see. But I agree wit Holland because of the reference to Country
