This morning Youngest Junior Overall was making me my first cuppa of the day and shouted through from the kitchen that the sugar container was empty. I told him there was a new packet in a particular cupboard. Two minutes later I was presented with a steaming cup of what can only be described as gloop. He had opened and used a packet of icing sugar.
Is there any hope for him?

Is it not still sweet? Tea with a slightly chewiness to it might be what the tea marketing board need to combat coffee.

Bless! If your son is making you a morning cup of tea, there's plenty of hope for him. (don't tell me he's 27). :-)

Question Author
Morning sweaty my sweet xx
I am doing fine thanks, how is your lovely self?
With a bit more sugar added, it might make an interesting cake topping.
Noooooo, don't quote me! - it's a random number, but every time I look at a new recipe these days, there seems to be a different name for different specifications of sugar- cane, gran, caster, icing, ground-up-tiny-brown, sticky lumpy-together-brown-in-a-bag, cube, multicoloured-fairy-sugar, and so on...
Well there's a thought, tills - I've never had tea-flavoured icing.
I wont tell anyone mrs overall I dont want to be a broad caster
Not the same, but I've used castor sugar in the past when ive run out of granulated.
I am lovely, MrsO. Sugar's the new tobacco, apparently. ;)
