Just discovered that thing #2 has snuck into the bathroom, climbed onto the toilet seat and then onto the counter and managed to get hold of some sideburn trimmer things. He has a whacking great big chunk of hair missing, slap bang in the middle of his forehead. His hair is very dark so it is very noticeable. (He must have done it with the stealth of a Ninja as I didn't hear a thing and I usually don't miss a trick.)

I remember reading many many years ago that it typically grows 1/10th of an inch a week. In metric that's around 1 cm every 4 weeks

God grief, he's going to look like a numpty in all the Christmas photos - better get him a jaunty hat or something. I am livid with him (for doing it) and himself for leaving the thing there fully charged (it was really high up though).

Boy #2 took a chunk of the side of his head with clippers once (wasn't very noticeable) - they now remain uncharged and on top of the kitchen cupboards. I didn't know the clipper thing was in the bathroom.
