Having real trouble with the Water, Water, Everywhere link. BURN BLUE, SEA MEW, KILLDEE PEEWEE, but CATNAPPING or MAINSPRING - sorry some 'rimes' there, some water, some water birds but I'm clearly missing something - any hints ?

I went for seabed, weewee, mainspring all to do with water
I have
Burn
Blue
Peewee
Killdee
Seabed
Mainspring
I think I'll change my Peewee :)
Question Author
Shaneystar, KILLDEE and PEEWEE are both plovers not strictly waterbirds - so WEE-WEE sits better with water, but where does that leave KILLDEE
Question Author
Also what is the PAIR ? MAINSPRING in Chambers has no reference to water. I'm drowning.
A kill is a body of water and the Dee also ( a river )
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kill_%28body_of_water%29
Main is the sea
Spring is a well .
I can't see a pair either.
It's all a bit ambiguous really .As Pee and Wee are both water .
MAIN+SPRING both to do with water
Question Author
Penny finally dropped, final words not linked to water but the two parts of each are, and the pair is BURN BLUE - phew !
Yes - each unclued word is "Water water"...
Im not too sure now about seabed
Perhaps sea med would be better ?
Any thoughts ?
I toyed with Sea mer for a bit but mer is a French word, and settled on Sea med eventually.
Thanks Slaney .I think it's better .Think I'll stick with pee and wee as well .
