Thanks Daniel. Lateness forgiven...gave me time to finish my breakfast and start some work...!
Daniel, thanks very much. It was by no means 'late' - and was worth it anyway!
Thanks Daniel - hope you're having a nice holiday and that your weather is warmer than ours here in Derbyshire.

Not being an 18 I had to google some! All worked out in the end though!
Thanks as ever, Daniel!
Just one little point: can anyone explain completely how 41a works? I'm assuming it's that Hitchcock word.Could it mean "point of the compass" surrounding abb. for "unique" + word sounding like "selling"?
In any case an original & "fun" one!
Re 41...my answer came from totally diferent reasoning and seemed very simple. It has a three letter word(relating to 'unique selling point', nestling inside a five letter word (relating to 'hearing'), with the definition resulting in the Hitchcock word you mentioned.
Thank you, neveraxwd: I just didn't know the abb.! Have sent it off anyway: no harm done!
Thank you, Daniel. Very much obliged.
