I must have touched the wrong button by mistake as my iPad now tells me that 'Data Roaming is turned off. You can enable Data Roaming in the Network section of the General Settings.'
I can get as far as General Settings, but can't see any headings that look to be anything connected to Data Roaming. Please could someone explain very clearly and in words of one syllable what I need to do to be able to use the internet on my iPad again.
Many thanks.

Although you would only be using data roaming if you are abroad. in your home country it will make no difference if it's on or off.

I don't have a 'Cellular' setting!

Can you suggest what else I should do? It was working perfectly well in my daughter's house in London until quite late last night. I turned it off, and I think that was all I did. When I turned it on this morning I got that message. I'd hoped it would work again once I got home, but sadly it doesn't.

Thank you for trying to help. It was very useful to know that I wouldn't be needing 'data roaming'. I think I've fixed it: I've closed down 3 tabs saying 'Page unavailable', & it seems to be working again. Fingers crossed!
