Hi, I've been off work this week and think brain's gone spongy!

..14 Ac-Bishop you had once found to be agog (3-4) _o_e/eyed

and also if someone could explain how (if it's right!) 4 Down- is justified..

Wine in litres- there's a written sign outside (6) = CLARET

Cheers all

14a, 3-4 or _o_e/eyed (4-4)?
14a POP EYED (pope ye'd).
4 down a caret is a mark in a text (^) indicating something needs inserting, insert the L for litre to get the wine.
14a. Pop eyed
Litres = l
written sign= caret. a sign above a letter
14a Pop-eyed (agog) - 'pope' (Bishop [of Rome]) + 'ye'd' (old "you had")

Claret - 'caret' (sign, outside) 'l(itres)'

Oh Jesus Wept! thanks Baldric if only I could count/see...Pop-eyed 3,4 will do it! Not the toughest clue ever :) Never heard of a 'caret' though in my defence.
Thanks all got it done now, at this rate I'll have cracked the Toughie in time for the start of the Olympics!
