Its been over a year now, I have had two trips to the doctors over it. My breasts just hurt. I'm not sure how to describe it, it isn't a constant thing eg. when walking. I only notice if hug someone or pressure is put on them some how. Sometimes they are a little more tender than other times, I don't really do anything to aggravate it, I tell me BF to be careful when handling them but surely the discomfot shouldn't be going on this long? It's just like a tenderness really, they have increased in size recently, I'm not sure if that is it, but it has been over a year now.
My BF said he once heard of a second puberty that you can get in your early 20s could it be this? Is it a myth?
The doc just said it was probably just me, I am quite a delicate thing! Just irritating that I have to live with it! I'm not sure really what can be done about it...just wondered if anyone had any ideas/similar experiences really!

Thanks :-)

xoxo.

There was a lady on Embarrassing Bodies the other night [Monday if you want to catch it 4catch up] who had the very same issue. After seeing a specialist to make sure there were no under laying health issues she was put on a high dose of Evening Primrose oil, when they checked back with her some weeks later there was a marked improvement. She was on a high dose but I...

When I was a child the classic remedy if anything hurt was to kiss it better.

Don't put them in nutshells then.

(sorry, couldn't resist, hope you get a serious answer soon)

Haha! Thanks Chuck, guess I asked for that really :-)

Tinkerbell...I did get measured by John Lewis over summer, and bought some bras in the size they suggested for me but I find them soo painful to wear. The wire just digs into my skin and I have so many red lines on my body when I take them off. As a result I have gone back to my old bras, which were too big at the time but feel more comfy. But since they have grown a little and I fit the old bras ok actually! I have no idea what size I am, I have lost a bit of confidence after that last bra fitting didn't seem to come out with the right result for me...
Ahem!
I know what you mean they can cut in! Mabye try elsewhere? Im larger chested and i weat tshirt type bras- mabye that wee extra padding would help a bit? Need to keep my two supported LOL!!

Xx
Either this is a genuine posting to seek advice on a personal problem or a thread designed to attract titty fetishists. I shall reserve judgement till later posts.

I may try M&S for a fitting, before the tenderness set in I found their bras very comfy. Don't really know how to put it but my twins just seem intent on getting larger and larger so I don't know whether I should just wait until the growth stops or get measured now...boobs are so confusing! I have never tried t-shirt bras, think I may give them a go!

Mike you are making me giggle :-) I can assure you this is a serious issue!

May be worth a try.

Was just going to say exactly the same thing divegirl! Yes this woman was in a lot of pain and had all the scans for the obvious worrying cause and there was nothing. very high doses of EPO and she was miles better.
Breast fetishist category...;0)

Wife had a problem a number of years back with hers...she would let me near them for days on end....no... hers turned out to be a problem with the muscles behind the breasts
Are you on or have you changed your contraception?

I ask because I was having the depo injections and stopped having them in December. Ever since my boobs have been painful, just like you describe. Crossing my arms wakes me wince. It just all the hormal stuff following the depo.
Could it possibly be PMT? Have you noticed if they feel more tender at certain times of the month? Another possibility is that you're pregnant being as they are 'intent on getting larger and larger' - just a thought. I found Debenhams and Bravissimo really good for getting measured correctly
Not an uncommon problem particularly around period times.

Try Ibuprofen Gel on a daily basis or just when the pain persists.
This is the episode I was on about

Just say your post Sqad, this was more of an on-going thing, pain all the time rather than when pre-menstrual, I think they said it was to do with lacking certain essential fatty acids.
Anyhoooooooo it worked for the lady on the programme.

A friend of mine went from Twiggy to Sophia Loren on Depo, despite the standard claims that you don't put on weight. It was very painful. She reverted to her normal dimensions as th depo wore off.

Lisa that sounds like it may be it...I will definitly be watching that and trying that! I am sick of this now! I want to be able to hug people painlessly!!

I am on the pill but I'm pretty sure I went on it after the pain started and yes Lisa is right Squd, it is a constant thing, it does fluctuate but its not to do with my cycle, I think its more to do with how much contact they've had with things!

chattykathy no I'm not pregnant, I did actually do a test the other day out of pure paranoia at the boob increase and it was negative. Really I just did it to calm my nerves over it! Didn't actually think I was!

Thankyou so much for the responses! xoxo.
Glad to be of help, the other thing being Evening Primrose is one of those things that are [seemingly] beneficial anyway, I've taken it for years and have just put my daughter [14] on it to try and calm her mood swings down....can't work soon enough lol
