Stuck on the last one. 47a Scene of Italian Tragedy where houses were cursed with plague ?e?o?o. Wondered if it might be Verona, by Mr Shakespeare's play is listed as a comedy not a tragedy. Help please...

Aha. I was looking at Two Gentlemen of Verona. Not sure about the wordplay though...

being dim - a plague on both your houses - got it now. Thanks
sienna (town in tuscany also spelt siena) wordplay 'scene' and also plague happened there
