if it is elapses we cannot have addle could it be aisle? I am sure stoccata is correct. Quite a difficult one this month.

As per the linked thread ^, I can't parse 'aisle'...

If 'elapseD' would allow 'addle', I'd be tempted to go for the typo, as "passeD...", though it still wouldn't read very well (?)
