...
mad as a box of frogs...well I suppose they would be, sharing a box with a lot of them..lol

good one both of you, some sayings are weird..lol
I have a Scottish friend, who when asked to do someting she doesn't beleve in, will say
Di yi think me heeds buttoned up the back...hilarious
Deaf as a dodo? Or did I just make that one up myself?? lol
Bobbi, that's reminded me of my mother-in-law telling us to clear off "away and bile yer heid"...!

ha-ha boxy...where do they come from eh?
...boiling oil comes to mind with that one!
my glaswegian mum used to say " dae yee think i came up the clyde on a bike?" if she thought you were accusing her of not knowing what you were doing
