OK lighten up you lot about Irish jokes. Paddy goes for a job on a building site. The foreman asks "Whats the difference between a girder and a joist?"
Paddy replies " Well, Joyce wrote Ullysses, and Goethe wrote Faust".

As you can see from the lack of responses this excellent joke went clean over the heads of the majority of those who use this site. Still, at least 'chatterbank' is a nice safe haven for them.
Sorry, forgot about the losers on 'relationships and dating' as well.
believe me, most Irish dont mind Irish jokes,(I should know) they can give as good as they get, and better, its the do gooders that spend their lives trying to find things to complain about in all walks of life that seem to be offended for everyone elses sake, and want to make a fuss over every thing that they THINK offends.
So is every thread going to suffer this "joke"?

One hopes not.
