Am I having a miscarriage?

I am currently 12 weeks pregnant with my 4th pregnancy. My first two pregnancies were normal, but my third ended in miscarriage at 17 weeks. I started bleeding yesterday morning, but it's very dark brown with tiny clots whereas my last was very heavy constant bleeding, this is still light.

I phoned the hospital, and they said not to worry unless it gets heavier or bright red. It's 30 miles away and there is no one to take me until 5pm anyway that's why I'm asking here.

I've never had any bleeding in my healthy pregnancies so I don't know if this could be normal? I'm having light cramps, but I've had very bad morning sickness throughout so it could be due to that?

Any help would be great, because I'm really worried.

Thanks x

Im sorry to hear what you are going through no one has no way of knowing that you are miscarrying until you have a scan or go to see a doctor hunny try not to worry as you will stress yourself out even more.
The fact that it is old blood is a good sign and the cramps could be simply because of your body changing to get ready for carrying a baby. I would get cramps at around the time my period wouldve been due for the first few months of my pregnancy. Please try not to worry too much, easier said than done I know. Just rest and try and relax until you can get a lift up to the hospital. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you :)
