306 convertible hood not tight

HI, hope someone can help. When i put the hood back up on the pug, on the last part where the rear section of the hood comes up to allow the boot to fold down, when the hood goes back it is not sitting flush to the boot lid and leaves a 1/4 inch gap between the lid and the plastic seal. does anyone know what might need tightening to get the hood fit flush.
