I have seen the word SPRINGWELL used, but cannot find it in the dictionary.

WELLSPRING means a source as in WELLSPRING OF IDEAS. But does SPRINGWELL mean the same thing?

Yes, it does mean the same thing. It's in The Oxford English Dictionary.

Bless you Quizmonster. I use the Cambridge Dictionary and it was nowhere there...but then I have an old edition. I want to use this as the name of an institute I am in the process of setting up. The name is so important and so....thanks a lot for clarifying my concepts. Be Blessed here and in the Hereafter!
