Time flies......

"Time flies you cannot they fly so fast!"
I have deliberately left out the punctuation on my Dad's favourite little saying. It really has people perplexed. Try it yourself.....
It should read :- "Time flies. You cannot, they fly so fast!"
Flies, as in the winged insect. They fly so fast that it is impossible to time them in flight.
