I have a book called An Exultation of Larks by James Lipton.
This gives collective names for no end of things.
My copy is quite old but you should still be able to get a copy somewhere. Amazon perhaps or Abebooks.

Good info here:

If you google for collective nouns you will find a lot of information.

A Swedeload of thanks to you anyamax for asking this question, so that shaneystar2 and Ethel could provide us with these answers. Must get the book! Must plow through the site! (According to the book site I use, it's 'exaltation', though - pointing that out just in case somebody else is having trouble finding it.)
What a naughty Shaney....I must get my glasses seen too !
Sorry...a typo indeed !
Hi shaneystar2, I'm not quite sure whether or not your response means I offended you...? Certainly didn't mean too. Far be it from me to mind about typos or in other cases even misspellings; that's not who I am. As I said, I only pointed it out for the benefit of others who - like myself, being a foreigner - might not be familiar with either exultations or exaltations... and thus run searches in vain for the book. That would be a shame - it seems like a must-have to me (I'm weird that way.) All the best, DaSwede
No offence taken whatsoever DaSwede
I am struggling along with my old specs at the moment and tend to make the odd typo .Get my new ones next week.. but that is no guarantee that my spelling will improve ! :)
How about a corruption of politicians? Sounds about right.
