Pendleside Festive Dingbats Closing Date Today

my last chance call for help with dingbat 9.

4 blocks of the letters of the alphabet one in each corner with the one at the bottom left underlined. All are missing the letters v and l. The missing l must mean noel--christmas but I cannot think what the missing v's mean and why the one block is underlined.

Can anyone help

It's been discussed before on here but I don't think anyone really knows, or if they do they're keeping it to themselves!    I've just put Christmas Alphabet because that's the one underlined and hope for the best.

The answers have jusg been released.  This one was

The missing V's were a mistake by the setter - he doesn't know how that happened.
