Some good racing today the length and breadth of the Country, but the penny punter like myself has to look for the value races in terms of runners and odds. Done the ITV7 and my main punt is from those races. I have done little 7,6,&5 folds on the ITV7 as well as the following.

Afternoon, Togo, and i see that we have gone for the same horse in 2 of the races. That must be a first (we sometimes have 1) and i don't know whether it is a case of great minds or putting the jinx on one another:-) Time will tell............

I have done a bit of cover as well Ken. Also had a little double on Martila 2.25 Ayr and Mr Scrumpy 4.10 Weth. Might end up doing another 4 horse bet on the last two of my original picks and those 2. Just for the hell of it you understand. (^_*)

Good grief...never seen anything like it. Byrony Frost looked as if she was coming to win the race and her stable companion ran across her. Surely the horse cannot keep the race? If not it gives us a place.

Weird, Togo. Never seen anything like that happen before and i'll bet the stewards haven't, either. Looked as if Nicholls was going to have the first and second - and BF may well have gone past to win. Instead, she gets nowt for all her efforts.
And we both have a winner - just!! Wonders will never cease :-)

Haha Ken the world's gone mad.....have you seen the latest footie scores? I have at least had a place treble pay me out snatched £8.35 back now I need a flourish to finish. Just having my first beer after 16 days. Could kill a ciggie but I am now determined to stay off em.

It's a topsy turvy day in the PL, Togo. Liverpool 1-0 down, City 1-0 down, WHU 2-0 down at home v Newcastle. And, to top it all off, i'm watching our defence play like total strangers - to each other and to the ball. There must be something in the water:-((
Gumball @ 8/1 gives me £48.80 back off the main bet and i have a little double in the Yank. Mustn't grumble, then. But after the rugby and that first 45 minutes, i will be doing :-/

You finding it hard keeping off the ciggies, Togo. I was extremely lucky. Smoked like a factory chimney for nigh on 40 years but when i packed it in, i didn't even get any cravings. I stil have a ciggy after Xmas dinner every year - and don't crave another after.

Same here Ken whilst I am still awake. Trying to decipher a bit of the American form on the dirt is a mare. I have found out one thing though. In an attempt to make it safer the dirt there is running a bit deeper and slower so the speedballs may not be the hotpots that they seem on form elsewhere. Will post when I have a punt stitched together. Don't think that "we" can prevail on the dirt but on the grass I like Old Persian in the 11.40. Perhaps do a dirt bet and a turf bet.

Sorted. Have switched off the racing sites now my bet is laid and catch up in the morning seeing as how I am getting up at 5am or so these days. Have laid into my Mr Scumpy return seeing as how I haven't had a bet for 2 weeks.

To be honest Togo, i got wrapped up in a film i was watching on Netflix (The King - half decent film) and then Spiral, so forgot all about the racing over the pond. Just placed a £1 e.w. on Acclimate @ 40/1 in the 11.40. Just for the hell of it, i suppose:-)

Got a decent run for my money, made all until fading in the last 1.5f. Finished about 5th. Not bothering with the 12.44, far too late.
