no fee that what it says, hey ho. and off to work we go.
i read through that again, what a blooming cheek, and that is putting it mildly.
It was always known there would be a financial cost to leaving, maybe some didn't know before they voted to leave.
perhaps they did but not how much, this money could fund the NHS for years to come.

based on what though mamy?
It depends on the terms of the contract, TTT, and was presumably factored into the decision by voters. But hopefully TM will be able to push hard and claim some sort of a victory on this issue
If Cameron had spelt out the costs during the referendum campaign it would no doubt have been dismissed as blatant scaremongering

what possible costs are there? they are getting to kin years notice For Funks Sake, we've paid plenty enough already.

This is a partial answer in an article from a couple of months ago - am sure there are brighter people than me can find more.

//unpaid budget commitments, pension liabilities, loan guarantees and spending on UK-based projects as part of Brexit negotiations//

When ones 'joins' one undertakes certain commitments and leaving may incur penalties.
Aye, we're all going to pay a high price for Brexit.
"the UK would be expected to honour the commitments it gave when the current seven year EU budget was agreed by David Cameron in 2013"

unpaid budget: we are the kin budget! Pension liabilities: For who? Load guarantees? for who? Spending on UK projects? we paid for the kin show, tell them to go forth a multiply.
You can 'kin' all you like (very adult of you) - if this has come as a shock then you haven't done your research.

Bang on ron, I don't give a rats plaster what trumped up cobblers the EU and their Remainiac buddies over here say, pay them nowt. In fact stop paying our dues now and keep the 30billion saved over the 2 year A50 period for other things.
I can only assume that those huffing and puffing against this never honour their agreements, or expect others to honour the agreements made with them? Fair warning - I'll be coming your way when I next need a sub.
Question Author
what agreements? I have seen none yet mothman and we are giving 32 months notice, plenty of time. Show me an agreement, or indeed speculate about one! What possible costs could there be? This is more made up cobras from the SGB so they can say na na nana na you didn't realise it would cost us 17Bazillion quid to leave the club did you! Balderdash!
Well, somebody's got pay for this;

and n.b. unlike a civil divorce, we are leaving them with ownership of all the real estate which we have paid a lion's share of construction costs, including the new 300 million Euro 'space-egg' H.Q..
