you need a big car.

They don't sell nearly as many varieties of stuff as supermarkets but what they've got is cheap.

The ones in the USA sell petrol; I wish they'd do that here.
I use Costco around three times a year. But not everything is cheaper. Sometimes things like, say cornflakes, are cheaper to buy from Sainsbury's when they have a '3 for the price of 2' offer on.

I was going to ask 'What is Costco?'
But having Googled, the nearest one to us is 55 miles, so it doesn't really matter!

^ me too, I've checked and my nearest is an hour and a half away. Kind of defeats the object.

Lno, as I said on another thread yesterday, Costco in our area sell gas/petrol at around 5c per litre less than the other stations, and that can add up to a large saving if you drive a gas-guzzler.
Jno, that is.
I don't think any of them sell petrol here, stuey. But I've taken my membership card to the States and used it to buy petrol there occasionally when hiring a car.
This is what I posted yesterday: "For example, in terms of your money, the average price today in the Toronto area is 0.61GBP per litre; at Costco it's 0.56GBP per litre." Gas is quite a bit cheaper in the States than here though.
I used to use Costco years ago but found it to be a false economy, the larger amounts of stuff that I bought, the quicker I used it.
Nearest costco to me is approx 10 miles away and it doesn't sell petrol.

Hey stuey with gas as cheap as that get yourself 440ci Dodge Charger ( 1969 preferably ).
Tony, I'll stick with my 15 year old Saturn: it still looks brand new!
cheapest anywhere near me is 114.9p a litre according to petrolprices.com. But supermarkets do sometimes offer cheaper if you acquire loyalty card points.
tonyav, take your Diodge to Venezuela, it's about 10p a litre there.
Ohhh, in that case I will, jno. Might even get a Dodge Challenger as well.
