that's bad. I don't know how people live together.
Lol...men eh? My OH wouldn't think of putting any of mine on either.
He knows how the washing machine works??
Mr Cake appears to be the only person in the house who wears clothes too.

I am reminded of a past ABer who wouldn't have her husbands laundry in with hers as his was covered in poo!
Lol Eccles...
My oh wouldn't lay a finger on the washing machine, i'd be angry if he did. He doesn't see the need to separate colours/whites/delicates/woollens etc. so stuff would get discoloured and knackered.
Mine wouldn't have the faintest how to work the washing machine - he does all the cooking and food shopping though and that's far better for me.
Mine doesn't know how to work the washing machine or anything else in the house, but luckily he pays for everything so i don't complain.
When I was married, it was abundantly clear that only I knew that we had a washing line(you really shouldn't be using the tumble dryer on warm, breezy days ladies) and when we did use the tumble dryer, only I knew that the filter had to be scooped out after every use, prior to the next use.
Hey-ho.
I sometimes do my washing, the whole lot goes in together! I dont think The Good Lady Carakeel would wish for me to wash her clothes to be honest.
A partner who does clothes washing? I didnt know such men existed!
You'll just have to buy new clothes Bednobs.

But don't send OH out to do that either!
At the risk of sounding like I'm blowing my own trumpet(I'm certainly not) I do wonder how some partnerships exist when I hear my female colleagues in work slating their menfolk for not doing the washing or cooking a meal etc.
It wa ssomething I did routinely, especially on my days off in the week if I'd worked a weekend. Furthermore, as I was generally the first home it was me who would prepare the evening meal and invariably most times cook it. You tend to crack on when you've got 2 hungry kids also waiting to be fed!
I really don't see such things as chores to be avoided, just part of the general daily routine of running a household.
I came home from work the other day to find the washing machine had been on, my heart sank. Everything was bunged in together, grrrr.....
My OH has just cooked and washed up. He'll happily hoover as well.
Mr R does hoover very well, I wouldn't let him near the oven though.
Why?
I've always known how to use the washing machine and often did. I was happy to wash my wife's clothes too...properly!

My wife knew how to work all the stuff I did. We shared all the housework.
Living in a female dominated house(mother and two older sisters) taught me the basics and several years living by my self between the *** queen and Trish resulted in me being fully house trained by the time Trish and I got together.
Does he have bachelor brother bednobs? I'm on the lookout for such a domestic God..
