I have 1 grandparent left and a kitten too. My garnddad had always been really generous to us and I'd like very much to get him something really nice. The kitten on the other hand, as much as we love it, is a kitten after all and therefore for him it will just be another ordinary day (with perhaps some turkey passed under the table)

My MIL has bought the catz some toys - she always does. We don't actually buy anything, they might get a posh sachet of Christmas-flavour cat food, but that's their lot. They are however usually generous in buying OH and I small gifts (OH and I don't do Christmas presents to each other, the catz do it instead, they buy for MIL too).
