Does a car need an inside mirror to pass an M.O.T.?
I have just purchased a car for my wife and it passed it's M.O.T. on 10th November 2009, when my wife collected it there was no inside mirror yet I didn't think it should have passed without one. Could anybody advise me whether this is the case

there is a minimum requirement for external mirrors apparently according to the direct gov site and 2 external mirrors should be enough anyway. Vans with bodies and separate cabs don't have rear view mirrors and you can hire and drive them on a car licence.
When I used to mot, it used to be fine to have wings mirrors but not interior mirror. Dont think its changed.
