Text messages to landlines

I keep getting dirty text messages to my landline..........
The phone rings........a recorded message from BT tells me I have a text message from xxxxxxxxxx and then a recorded voice reads out the text message.................and its filthy!!!
I didn't even know this 'service' was available......

lol cazzz.......I haven't seen the builder since I lent him to my daughter...........

Yeah, you just type out a text message and send it to landline number. It's called a voice text :-)

That must be horrid craft....check the mobile number against those you have stored in your phone...you may know this person. Perhaps it is someone sending a text 'joke' to your home phone by accident???

Unfortunately Silk it's not a one-off.............I've had 4 now I think in the last couple of weeks....

It could be someone who has your home phone and mobile numbers on their mobile, and they keep sending it to your landline by mistake. I have done that myself many times...
