First village: as I entered the village, I recalled that in times past, the place was described as "scanthalf so bigge as Loughborow". not quite that now though.feeling in need of sustenance i ventured in to a place of refreshment, by its name, that fellow Oliver and his followers would not have entered it, but times do change. As the days progressed, my thoughts turned to findinga place to spend the night. I thought back to those days when there was a fine place, with free bord and lodging for up to 200 souls, those who qualified of course.

This is in the harborough area: and answer is in the leicestershirevillages.com
