What is the instrument in the background on the track 'Infinity' by Guru Josh Project, is it a Trumpet or Sax or are we both wrong?

Well, the guy on that is playing an alto sax, which is feasible.

Both the original and re-release are entirely electronic. The synthesised sound you hear is supposed to be a Saxophone, hence the original B-side (if under 30, ask your parents what a B-side was) was called the 'Spacey Saxophone Mix'.
