Wanted equal rights, well here it is complete with a settlement. See how keen it is after that!
Oh dear, how sad.

yawns
Somewhat unecessary angle R1Geezer, and a nasty comment from you Raggy - do you guys have a problem with gay weddings, or is it just gay divorces, or is it just (heaven forfend!) gays in general?
I simply have a problem with celebrity gossip - it bores the pants off me.
So what? I think it's quite sad that a couple that was once very much in love have now 'fallen out' of love and divorcing. I don't understand the need for the comment

'Wanted equal rights, well here it is complete with a settlement. See how keen it is after that'

Nothing has been reported about either of the couple complaining about an 'equal rights' settlement.
They had a civil marriage under the law and so they need a civil divorce under the law.

Steve, do you realise that you just suggested that matt lucas and kevin mcgee should be exterminated because they are gay??? personally I would exterminate matt lucas because he is not funny but it would be a bit harsh I guess.
Question Author
well steve, I'm not the biggest fan of yer bandits but I don't think I'd call for extermination.
Extermination?
Mmmmmm... bit harsh.
Are you calling in the Daleks?
Hey Raggy, another gun for your arsenal (sorry maybe an inappropriate metaphor in the circumstances!) - step forward Steve 5.

Sorry R1Geezer, Steve5 seems to have inadvertently shot at an ally (ooops, pardon!)- maybe he'll see where you are coming from (oooh stop!) when he knows you a little better.
Hope neither wants his "Pound of Flesh" (think about it)

straight people marry and may divorce, gay people have civil partnerships and may divorce.

get over yourselves.

isn't homophobia a bit 1970's?

The first gay wedding in Canada between two women was over in just 3 weeks.
I'm suprised Elton John's has lasted this long.
If Matt Lucas couldn't see the little queen for exactly what he was then thats his problem.
