I can see that would be very irritating - you'd subconsciously wipe at your cheek and pull the thing out accidentally.

Could be very dangerous if you were daft enough to wear it whilst driving and you need lenses for your sight

Me personally no, but i know people that probably would, anything like this will be a bit like belly button rings!!!
Personally no but I don't wear any jewellery at all, I know people that probably would wear them though.

I doubt they would be available with prescription lenses so I should imagine that pulling one out when driving would have little effect
I'm not one for jewellery really, all I wear is a pair of small hoop earrings and my engagement ring. I have a 'thing' about eyes and there is no way I could put anything in my eye for reasons of vanity!

According to the article, prescription lenses can be used:

Users attach a range of accessories, such as crystals and flowers, to the new prescription or dummy lenses and wear them throughout the day.
seems like a bit of a waste of time to me but hey each to their own
heck no! In the hayfever season or after about 5 mins in a cold wind I've got real tears running down my face anyway :o)

Oh lawdy the very idea makes me nauseous-I'm just recovering from a bout of conjunctivitis so I think this could be a potentially dangerous accessory!

I heard recently that u could get a small jewel inserted in ure eye arrrrrgh!!!!
I have a phobia of eyes so im glad when i opened the link that i could see the headline and NOT the picture. I clicked off rather than scrolling!
Sounds grim to me. Would make me feel ill if i saw someone with something hanging from their eyeball! I just wonder what will they think of next.

Not at all. I think that anything sold as a fashion accessory , including fashion contact lenses, should be banned.
I don't think so. They must invite infection. People who wear prescription contact lenses work hard enough on the cleanliness front. Can't really see the fashion-conscious being too careful about that.
