For me it was two weeks ago - an old friend from North Yorkshire (where I used to live) visited and brought a lovely bunch. Very thoughtful of him.

Awww...that's nice chappie. My husband buys me some most weeks, and I got some last weekend.
Got some nice bud a few weeks ago, does that count?
Might do - if this one counts as well......

Only if you can arrange the tins nicely in a vase, Skreechee.
Oh dear, Mrs C. Now you've made me feel sad. I don't think that anyone has ever bought me flowers ;-(
(Although I'm sure that No-no would gladly send me a wreath!)

However, the last two gifts I've received were from colleagues on the traffic survey teams that I work for. A Spanish colleague brought me back some Spanish chocolate and another colleague gave me a bottle of wine. So perhaps I'm not the worst supervisor to work under! ;-)

Chris
Aww...i'd send you some flowers Chris.

Chris, I'd happily send you some flowers too, for all the help you've given me and other folk on here.

Here ya go ........ the next best thing, a smackeroonie .........

(((((((((((((Mwhahahahaahahahahahahah))))))))))))))))

PS: I've bought my hubby flowers before, he loves flowers.

Aaaw. Thank you, Icey.

There was a thread, yesterday, about who you'd like to be for 24 hours. I never got round to posting but my suggestions (from among AB members) were going to be as follows:

Clanad - 'cos as an airline pilot, he gets to play with 'big boys toys'.

No-no - 'cos I want t find out if ignorance really is bliss

and

Icey - 'cos I want to spend 24 hours being regarded as the nicest person on AB ;-)

Chris
No-no: Maybe I've got secrets that you'll never know about ;-)

Mrs C: Smackeroonie greatfully accepted ;-)
Good choices Chris! Being me is no picnic..but at least you get to have big boobs! lol
I still wanna be Kirsten Dunst though.

Hey Chris, do I detect a spelling mistake from you? lol
Mrs C: I pride myself on the accuracy of my spelling. However, after a certain amount of alcohol, I also pride myself on my ability to say "why am I really bothered about a misplaced letter or two?" ;-) Hic!

Burpppppppppp!!!!

:o)
Max: Apologies for the slow response to your post.

Are you trying to gradually 'get me excited'?

First, you let me know that you're 'Maxine', rather than 'Maximillian'. ( Female = interesting).

Then you ell me that you're French (French female = very interesting).

Now you mention the big boobs. (French female with big boobs = very, very interesting).

What surprises have you got to come? ;-)

My choice, No-no. (Too much politics and too many meetings in teaching for me). But the support of my agent (to help me make money out of writing) is also relevant.
Thanks Chris. sweet of you.
