Silly name of the week?

In the birth announcements of our local paper there's a boy who's been called Lupin.
What are his parents thinking of?

It was reported in the paper a while back that a couple, who's surname is Peac0ck, called their son Andrew LMAO

My neighbours wee boy is called Valo.

I know someone who called her son Lancelot! He is about 13 now, poor boy.

I can't imagine any parent wanting to name their son after a flower.
Some parents need to give their head a shake.

my friends kids are called eric and arthur! i like the name lupin, its not as silly as rainbow or some of the others i have heard recently.
we were talking about kids names last night and mr f likes the name che for a boy and holly for a girl. honestly i don't want kids yet!

And got to agree Mrs O, the name Lupin is horrific, it would be bad enough on a girl, but a boy? He's in for a lot of bullying when he gets to school!

A friend of mine had a baby last Wednesday and gave him the name Matthew, it makes such a lovely change to hear a nice normal name been given nowadays.

Hi Boo. I like the name Matthew.
A friend of mine is expecting a boy and they've picked the name Peter - good & traditional.

The most ridiculous girls name I heard was last year when a baby was named Prada.

sleepy1...I know a family who have twin boys called Merlin and Raven. I don't mind the names, but just imagine when they are playing out & mum calls them in for tea......she has a deep, gruff broad Yorkshire accent.
