My cat has brough in bird eggs.

We found a bird egg on the ground in the garden, and brought it inside. The next monring, my brother woke up to find 2 new eggs on his bedroom floor.

Should we be worried that our cats have taken them from the birds nest, or just assume 3 eggs have fallen from a nest, which we dont think would be very likely?
