From programmes about them on Discovery Home and Health, they like to be referred to as little people, but that might only apply to American dwarves.

Dwarf is probably preferable to Midget, as they are shorter because of their "Dwarfism" condition. Maybe you should not put a label on this guy and just see him and treat him as any other regular human being.

Velvetee is right - in America, they refer to them as Little People - they had a reality show following a family called the Roloff's "Big World, Small People".

But the correct term generally across the world is dwarf as their condition is known as dwarfism. I know it's cruel but I do too find them quite funny. Apparently they are in great demand in the porn industry.........!!!!
