Chicken Kebab with Chili sauce

Anyone know what marinade is put on the chicken in the kebab shop before it's cooked? It's a yellow colour when it goes onto the grill.

Also how do I make chili sauce like in the kebab shop, do I just cook some red chili's and mash them up?

I've looked at some cooking sites and I think it's turmeric mixed with olive oil.

Just need to find out about the chili sauce now
