Hi as some of you may know my mum in law passed away 4 weeks ago and a few days ago my sister in law saw a clairvoyant. This woman was a complete stranger and she knew nothing about the situation at all. Straight away the clairvoyant said your mum is in the spirit world isn't she? She then went on to describe exactly how she had died, where her watch was kept and knew about the entire family. She described how she was in her twenties and said this is how we were to remember her and said she was pain free and with the little boy who she miscarried over 35 years ago. This has given us all great comfort, have any of you had similar experiences?

Only when pi55ed, absolute bunkum.
They do exist. I could tell many incidents but no one would believe so it makes no sense wasting time, energy and space.
Is there anybody there, knock once for No and twice for Yes.

Well thank you for your opinion but how can you explain it? My sister in law called into a pub near her house after seeing a sign outside for psychic nights and spoke to the clairvoyant and asked for a reading. As I have already said she was a complete stranger, didn't even know my sister in law's name let alone her circumstances. The woman said I think you need more than 15 minutes in a pub gave her a number and saw her the next morning ih her own home for over 2 hours and only charged her 20. As I said she knew how her mum died described the exact circumstances and everything else. She knew I have a little girl and the children my sister in law had there was nothing general about the reading that could have been guess work at all. I know there is alot of fakes out there but this woman knew everything and my mum in laws death was very complicated.
It is all a con to get 20 out of silly gullible people.
She will have found out a few things overnight. Talked to people in pub etc. Funny she had to wait till next day.

Why do people keep falling for this cr@p.
I got a fish bet you did not know that

My sister in law is not silly or gullible and if you actually read what I am saying I sincerely doubt you can explain it. I have not posted this for an argument but if you have nothing constructive to say without slagging off my family who has been through a terrible time watching our mum die of cancer than I suggest you f*ck off and post your answers elswhere

Doc Spock how can the woman have found out anything overnight? She didn't even know my sister in law's name. And the pub I am talking about isn't in a little village where everyone knows everyone it is quite a few miles away from my sister in law's house where she lives in a city. the only reason she noticed the sign was because it is on the way back from what used to be her MUM and dad's house
Hi tigwig. I've never been to one personally but know of people that have and have received the same kind of experience as yourself. My grandad went to a sance once and had a message from a friend of his and it was so personal the person passing over the message just could not have guessed or known prior to. I genuinely think people can be connected to the spirit world and as you mentioned the lady knew too much to be someone who could just ask a few questions in a pub and make something up. I am glad it's given you comfort.

nuoyg thank you for your answer, it is nice to hear from someone who actually believes me and doesn't slag off my family!
Hi tigwig, you're welcome :-)
I am a great believer in the spirit world, I am drinking a large rum n coke as we speak.

Ha ha I am too a great believer in the spirit world you are talking about my fave is malibu but there was no need for you to call my sister in law silly and gullible. everyone is entitled to their opinion of course but I don't think you should have been so nasty in the circumstances. have you ever watched a close family member die a horrible slow death?
I remember you asking about a medium tigwig. Im so glad your sis-in-law got a geniune reading. I like to go to my local spiritualist church, people always get genuine messages there. I believe in the afterlife, others dont but let it get to you as everyone is entitled to their own opinion:-)
Doc, I appreciate your views but how do you know its bunkum? Have you ever died to know there's no life after death? do tell:-))
hi tigwig i believe in clairvoyants as ive had experience too and she was spot on. If it helps you and your family move on then thats great. People will always have their own opinion whether they believe or not. Take comfort in what you were told and ignore the doubting thomas
Bunkum, total and complete utter nonsense.

There is no after life, just this one , enjoy it, there is nothing else.

Both parents actually tigwig. Dont suppose this medium has a phone number for them.
Not one medium in the whole history of their pi55 taking has ever, under regulated conditions , ever been able to prove their ridiculous claims to be able to talk to dead people.

I find in incredulous that intelligent people believe we can talk to the dead, beggars belief.
what makes you so sure doc spock that there is no afterlife.
