I hope there are some cyclists here. What are the best puncture-resistant Mountain bike tyres you have used ? I've had Specialized Armadillos on 2 bikes for several years. However, I've just had 5 punctures in the same wheel over a 7-month period (the last in a 2-week old new tyre/tube). The shop thinks this is reasonable, but I do not ! Another drawback is that they have such little grip in mud that it is dangerous to venture off-road in the current sodden weather. Can anyone recommend some decent knobbly tyres suitable for offroad that are also highly puncture-resistant ?
