Do you know of any songs which have musical errors on them? I'm talking about tracks (hopefully famous ones) where there's a bum note which nobody realised was there until it was in the shops, or the drummer misses a beat etc.

For example, I think Stranger on the shore by Acker Bilk has a bum note on it.

If you listen to the best of Kate Bush, they re-recorded Wuthering Heights. Towards the end, she hits a serious bum note when she sings: "It's meeeee, Kathyyyy". After I first noticed it, it ruined the song, I can't listen to it anymore cos it makes me cringe. That's the only bum note I can think of.
What about Supertramp's Logical Song? The guy can't sing anyway, but when he tries for those high notes at the end he misses by miles!
There are 2 versions are Van Morrison's 'Brown Eyed Girl' with slighty different lyrics towards the end. One of my copies sounds like it has bits from the other version spliced into it.
...van doesn't sing "my girl's brown eye" on one of the versions by any chance?
Didn't Herb Alpert's Rise have a bum note on it? I'm going back some years now but I vividly remember DLT raving on about it on his radio 1 show.

Actually, coemgen, that may be the one I'm thinking of, as I remember DLT going on about one and I get those two mixed up together!

Thanks for all the other answers.

Maybe not as well known as some of the other answers (but it deserves to be, and I *promise* you'll love the song if you dig it out) but 1min 12 seconds into Promised Land by Johnnie Allan, the drummer drops one of his sticks, picks up a spare and carries on, though he loses the rhythm momentarily. (The song being recorded in one take). Doesn't stop it being just about the most toe-tappin' tune ever recorded.

And, for proof that I'm not the only one who thinks so, it reached 78th in the NME Writers all time top 150 singles (first published on 28th February 1987, see http://www.rocklist.net/nme_singles.htm ). Available on one of the best compilations of all time: Another Saturday Night. See: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000009G

Not necessarily a bum note but on an eighties compilation cd (purchased not copied), during 'Rock the Casbah' a mobile telephone can be heard ringing in the background. It confused the hell out of me for a while as everytime I played the CD I would check my mobile for missed calls!
Its certainly known by eveyone, but whether most like it is something else...i do; Benny Goodmans Sing Sing Sing, the clarinet player plays a whole bar extra when its just the drums beating away ebtween bridges. (1940's recording)
