Then he out it all on the 2 o'clock at Haydock and lost his shirt :-)
wow 13-2, 6-1, 12-1, 11-1 that's a very big ask for a lucky 15! I assume they are the SPs.
Bookies love multiple bets because they rarely come off but when they do they can make a big deal of paying out and treat it like advertising.

Someone who places bets like this, Baz, is probably a sensible and disciplined punter. He may well double his stakes from now on, for a while at least, but no more than that.

Wisely used his 'Bet Boost' too, on this particular punt. When i do my football accas, i use 365 because they include a bonus - 30% on my usual 9 match selections - hence my £3k+ win in August.
Hope he doesn't plough it all back.
"Hope he doesn't plough it all back. " - he will, all gamblers lose that's why the bookies etc exist.

TTT, of course the 'firms' love multiple bets, but we punters who are not big hitters find them very attractive. Possibly returning stake money for a couple of winners and potentially big returns for relatively small stakes. If i won £75K for a £20 stake, i wouldn't mind the bookies using my success as an advertisement :-))

Naomi; Hoe he doesn't plough it all back."

TTT; "He will..."

As i've already said, the nature of the bet suggests that this particular punter is a disciplined one. Wreckless punters don't usually go for multiples, preferring single win bets with high stakes. And certainly not on horses returned at such SPs.

Back in the ate 90s, i won £2,064 on a £1 Placepot. There was a bet i'd been wanting to do for some time, but which cost £13.20 stake. After consulting with she who must be obeyed, i played this bet each day until my returns were less than my stake - a period of almost 3 weeks. Then, the first time i dipped below the £13.20, i reverted back to my normal bets.
Not all gamblers are numpties, TTT.
ken: "Not all gamblers are numpties, TTT. " - of course not, I have the occasional punt myself but I think of it as small indulgence no different to a couple of pints. I doubt most gamblers are ahead despite the occasional big win. The success of all forms of gambling purveyors must surely indicate that the punters are rarely winning overall. I know a few fruit machine addicts who must pump thousands into them and when they win the jackpot they are happy and buy drinks etc but they basically delude themselves that they win, they don't. Most of them started because the got lucky at the start and dropped a jackpot, that's the worst thing that can happen early on in a gamblers career, they win and then put 1000s of time what they won back, chasing "easy money".

My next-door neighbour (deceased now) was one such 'fruit machine addict', TTT. He would occasionally pop in with a wad of folding stuff in his hands. "Jackpot, Ken!" he'd beam. Couple of days later, he'd be popping back, "Couldn't lend me a fiver for some baccy, could you Ken?"
Mind you, he was a complete moron.
It's the online gaming on computers and smart phones that really worries me these days. People are getting themselves into a right pickle with it.
Question Author
I've been gambling online since 2010, TTT, and have only ever visited the 'casino' section of any of the firms when they have given me 'free spins'. I play those free spins out, then add winnings (if any) to my 'gambling' account. I have never - and never will - deposit money in the casino section of the online firms.
You are clearly a controlled and sensible gambler ken. There are those with less self control and even less intelligence getting themselves in a right state.
