I've got very vague memories of a programme with a magical white horse in it. I'm afraid I can't remember any more than that, but any suggestions would be greatly received.

A part of me thought it was "Three Wishes for Cinderella" because she had a white horse, but I think it was set in a more modern time than the fairytale. "The White Horses" doesn't ring any bells either.

Thanks in advance. Plocket

Could be the series ELIDOR. written by Alan Garner. There was a white horse in that if i remember rightly.

That was shown in 1995 on the BBC (I think). Have you got a time frame in mind? Animated

The Silver Brumby was a series about a magical white horse, based on a book of the same name.

I know the Alan Garner stories and don't think it's them. And it certainly wasn't an animated programme. I'm in my late 30s now so I guess it would have been shown in the mid to late seventies, or possibly the early eighties. I've been thinking about it some more and I think some of the scenes might have taken place at night. I'll look some more into The Silver Brumby.
