The actual postage and packing costs on the book will be a lot less than 2.75 (Amazon's standard "private seller" charge), so after Amazon takes its cut, the seller is still left with a profit.

I've had 1p books before with no problems - you should be OK!

You will get it. ! It will be the end of a run or just scrap paper to them I sometimes think that Amazon must get a big discount on the mailing to keep that company in business.Amazon have the best Customer Satisfaction vote in Computer Active Magazine.

I bought a 1p book a couple of weeks ago, got it no problem.
And where does one look for books at 1p?
Waldo - was just a book I wanted (Apple of My Eye by Helene Hanff) and there it was for 1p - have now read it and sent it on to a friend so I'm getting my 1ps worth!
Waldo - just look for a book you want, then check the "new and used from" section and you might get lucky.
