Wonderful experiences and they shore me up.x

Yours?
When I love someone I do so unconditionally, so short of them ending up being a murderer or a paedophile or something really seriously bad I would love and support them no matter what. I can't see the point in falling in love with someone and trying to change them or hoping they'll do something else or morph into something else.
My partner has also just shown me a considerable amount of unconditional love too so that's nice, I wasn't wrong about him x
You’ve got a long road to travel yet kvalidir. Nothing lasts forever, except death and taxes.
I have never had 100% unconditional love from any human, only dogs.
Ditto, Prudie.:-)

My experience is very special and precious. Why do you ask?
Is there such a thing? It would mean you forgave the other absolutely anything.
Fifty years of being married.
I don't think so Eleena.
Love for your child ,I think, is the nearest you can get to unconditional love.
I think you have to be able to accept and forgive in a long term relationship but I don't know anyone, including myself ( 30 years married) that does not have some sort of line in the sand that once crossed breaks that love.
I will not go into detail as they will only be condemned and ridiculed by some ABers, but in a nutshell, i have received and given unconditional love on many occasions.

So you love them on condition they are not a paedophile or murderer. That's not unconditional love.

Its not a criticism, just an example that unconditional love has to encompass every scenario including the two heinous crimes you have mentioned. I doubt many would continue to love their partner if they raped and killed a child.
^ Agree.

[ oh anyone watching Vanity Fair - dobbie gives the soppy amelia osbourne unconditional love - as she loves that cad George - and Rawdon luffs Becky Sharp .....sa Trollope sat writing Vanity Fayre, didnt his grand-daughter say: "oh grandpa why dont you write a novel like Mr Dickens does?"
Marked for early death that one.
OK I agree trollope didnt write VF - but hell this is a normal day on AB]
I’ve had my cat kizzy for 18years, I feed her, brush her, make sure she has all her favourite sleeping places free for her at all times, spend lots of money on vets bills, worry about her when she is not well etc..
She in return growels and hisses at me any time I go near her or even look at her but I don’t care, she’s beautiful and I love her
