Much though I would like to be on good terms with the country and it's people, the government there seems to have a control complex, and so any good relationship will be a long distance one. If a country doesn't welcome guests as friends but sees and treats them as potential criminal types or those that need to have a tyrannical level of monitoring, then it a not a good place to visit.
Since AB is, inexplicably, run on servers based in the US (I forget who claimed that but I checked and they were right), don't they (US authorities) already have access to the email addresses we signed up with?
