I find that people with that attitude ^^^ often miss reasonable factual programmes. No Reporter/Presenter is perfect but they usually manage to convey enough facts to make for a decent programme.
Just my opinion of course!
I like Piers Morgan. I don't get why so many people dislike him. At least he doesn't take himself too seriously. And he does his Life Stories series very well I think, his guests usually look relaxed and enjoying themselves and he manages to wheedle a lot out of them.
I don't think I suggested for one moment that you were not/should not be happy with it, simply an observation on my part, although forgetting at the time how sensitive some can be on AB.
I like Piers, compared with some of the other air-head morons he is intelligent and easy to listen to, read or watch.
It is all about getting the person being interviewed relax so that the interview flows and is interesting to watch.
I like Graham Norton as well - but haven't seen him for a long time.
"False" nice people are my pet hate. Lorraine Kelly and most of the morning bimbos, Cilla Black and others that I can't remember are on my list of shows to avoid.
Piers Morgan Life Stories, I do like to see them when I catch them been shown, I wouldn't go out of my way. However I do think Piers himself is smarmy but compared to the like of Johnathan Ross he's in the Premier league, Ross isn't even a pub team substitute.
Wolf63, Graham Norton is funny though the best interviewer ever... is without doubt Mrs Merton (Caroline Aherne.)
I'm on the fence about Piers Morgan, he is sickly, smarmy patronising, but he gets away with his questioning, asking the awkward questions in a polite charming way.
