One school is having a "student free day". There are only 6 students from the Catholic school on my run. 4 of them usually travel with their mums, one is a nurse at the local hospital the other a receptionist at the stock and station agents, so only 2 left. The majority of kids attend the central school.

ah! I see. Here it's usually all one school on the bus, in some cases several buses.

7 school buses operate from this little town, 2 schools and a kindergarten.
