Any plans for the weekend Jan?
Or just kicking back and avoiding things.
I just summed up my plans.

It's been raining here all night so ground is wet through but I am meeting some friends for our 3mile walk this morning, then, I may join in with some others for a 5k run. I'll see. At the moment, it's all I can do to lift my cup of tea.
After that? No, no great plans. I MAY meet a friend for lunch.
Tomorrow, I'm out for brekkie with a couple of chums.
That's it really. My weekend is eating and drinking coffee/tea. No alcohol

Even that sounds rather busy to me Jan.
Walking to the newsagents for the morning papers is about as far from home as I'll get.
Hope your possible lunch and your brekkie are most enjoyable.

Get a dog and train it to go for your papers.

We have a dog Jan, interesting looking creature it is. A cross between an Australian Red Cattle Dog and a Shar Pei. Couldn't trust it on an errand it would have every animal in range rounded up and penned in a corner somewhere.

She's having trials for the Olympics next week jan. She's doing really well thanks for asking. I do pass on your thoughts and well wishes. X

She has never hurt a soul Jan but it is in her breeding to "muster".
She loves to get out bush where she chases rabbits and roos into a corner but never touches them.

Zacs, good news indeed. Hope she continues to improve at an alarming rate. As you say, may we expect to see her at the London Marathon this year?

Future ex daughter inlaw (girlfriend of offspring 3) and her Mum just arrived, I'm going to go and be sociable coz they are both lovely people.
