Blimey - my typing isn't up to much at this ridiculous hour :(

Currently drinking a pint off tea in a desperate effort to be properly awake for a run to B'ham Airport - friend off on hols & Dave's Cabs is on duty.

Morning jeffa :)
Careful! You'll get in bother...
Morning Dave. Nice to see you mate. :o} Duty taxi driver. I remember it well mate. :o}

I've been up for a while and been on the wildlife walk. All is well. Most of them still out and about on their lawful, or unlawful occasions. The rook sentries not out yet and the foxes not about. The older badgers were not wandering too far from the sett, keeping an eye on this year's sprogs, the parents and older youngsters were out and about foraging. Still too dark to see the hillside.

Cloudy and noticeably a lot cooler here at the moment. Some gaps in the cloud though.

Morning Boaty - my dogs have so far opened one red-rimmed eye each & muttered the canine equivalent of "you must be joking" - senior dog in particular looks very under-impressed.
i remember that one too mate! One dog we had, a labrador, we got as a nine week old in the summer. I only had to be coming downstairs and he was there with the big welcome and ready to go. One morning, I opened the door, snow. Dog's tail almost caught up with his nose! He had a sniff. Looked up with that very 'You jest of course mate!' and went back to his basket. 'Fine, I thought. No problem to me.' When nature eventually drove him reluctantly out, he found out he could have fun in this chilly white stuff! We couldn't get him in until lunchtime! The boys would throw soft snowballs at him to catch so that they splattered all over his face. He loved it!
