Thursday. A clear sky this morning. Venus is twinkling away. The charter yesterday was a 70th birthday, a merry lot they were too. Much laughter and plenty of food and wine they brought with them.
When the Boaty came in.
All is well in wildlife land. About a dozen badgers relaxing with the younger ones playing. They seem to be over the drama now. Wonderful. :o}
The foxes were sniffing around the undergrowth, probably looking for breakfast.
The rookery is peaceful this morning, sentries already on guard. the seagulls are giving them a wide berth this morning after yesterdays dust up. The rooks won that one! Didn't see any gulls until I almost back home.
I saw something moving through the long grass, but couldn't see what it was. I did see a flash of black. It could have been a canine escapee, but i wouldn't bet on it as it was trying to keep out of sight, none of the regulars seemed to be bothered by it.
Once again foxy was late, as yesterday, his food was still there when I went out, but was gone when I got back. Tiggy was in at 11.30, on his own, but again taking food away.

Morning jan and boaty, and other callers too.
Looks like it's going to be another fine day here at the seaside. Glad it's fine anyway as we have the roofer here repairing old tiles and lead flashing.
Oldest daughter's birthday yesterday and her hubby invited us to join them for dinner. Went to a lovely country pub and were treated right royally.
Hope you all have a good day.
